We feel the Chill!

It is quickly approaching that time of year when the weather turns and the chill in the air is something found in the absence of sound here. We wake to silence knowing our day is already filled with patience and peace. There is nowhere we would rather be than here.

When I roll over in the morning I can tell the time of day by the placement of the sun against the hill across the valley outside my window. The shadows left by the night slowly vanish while the sunlight warms the branches. Everything is alive and breathing.

I would live no other place. So pleased. So blessed.
