September is upon us and a chill is in the air

This weeks schedule and upcoming events:

​Thursday Night Dinner will be a Chicken Piccata with White Wine, Lemon & Butter Sauce with Capers.  Served with Cilantro Rice and a Salad.  $9.99 in the Lounge at 5pm.
 
No Live Music in the Lounge on Friday or Saturday due to the Rock N Roll Musical. 
 
Rec Room is only open on Saturday and Sundays 12-6pm until Winter Break.
 
Business Office closed for lunch:  Starting September 3rd the Business office will close Mon-Fri from 12-1 pm for lunch.  This will not affect other departments. 
 
Kern Transit News:    An instruction sheet on how to ride the new Santa Clarita Bus is available in the rack next to the bus schedules in the clubhouse lobby and in both PMC bus shelters.
 
Monday Night Football is back!!!   5pm in the lounge.  Great Tailgate Food available for purchase and Happy Hour drink prices.  Come root for your favorite team!!
 
Guitar Society meets Thursday at 4pm in the Pool Pavilion.
CERT meets Saturday at 10am in the Condor Room.
Garden Club meets Saturday at 3pm in the Pool Pavilion
 
Seed Exchange – The PMC Garden Club is hosting a Seed Exchange on Sunday Sept 15th from 10 to 3pm in the Pool Pavilion.  Come donate or exchange extra gardening seeds!  The seeds can be flowers or veggies and fruit and can be locally harvested or extras that have been purchased from stores.  Seeds and attendance are free.
 
Rock n Roll Reunion Musical --- September 13,14,15 & Sept 20th.  7:30pm performances except 2pm on Sept 15th in the Condor Room at the Clubhouse.    Tickets are $15.00 available at the Clubhouse front office or on-line at https://rock-n-roll-reunion.square.site.    Proceeds to benefit “Aging in Place” in PMC.    Please see flyer in Clubhouse lobby.

The Transfer site will be staying open late on Thursday nights (till 7pm).

From the Pro-shop:   Friday night Scramble schedule is as follows:  The dates are every other Friday 5pm.  Please call the pro-shop to sign up 661-242-3734.  It is a $5 buy-in and an optional $2 closest to the hole.  The next dates are as followes:

Artflix at Artworks 3rd Thursday of each month (in the Village).   This months movie will be “The Maiden Heist” on September 19th 6:30pm (FREE) -  A fun movie night with an art-themed caper starring some of Hollywood’s greats.     When Security Guards at an art museum hear that their favorite artworks are being sent to another museum, they concoct a plan to switch the real masterpieces with fakes, What can go wrong?!   Featuring Morgan Freeman, Christopher Walken, William H. Macy and Marcia Gay Harden.
