Back to School? Come home!

It's back to school time and in the past that has meant that real estate sales begin to slow. Perhaps in some of the metro areas this is true. The numbers overall would show this on any graph or chart. However this doesn't seem to be the case in our mountain communities!

​We have seen a larger number of folks find their way into our local offices to look for their home on the hill recently. Those that are coming in are not necessarily "the norm" as well. A significantly larger number of families are showing up to find either their primary residence or retreat.

​Our home values are going up with every new visitor. Our commercial centers are alive with fresh visitors as well. The influx of folks doesn't affect the Pine Mountain Club area adversely since we are fortunate to have a fixed number of properties surrounded by PMCPOA land or National Forest land, both of which are not going to be built upon anytime in the near future.

​Those of us who live here full time know how blessed we are to be able to call PMC our home.

​This weekend we are meeting with three times the normal number of folks. Appointments are scheduled and still we are holding open houses for wanderers to visit.
